Sacred Waters 2020: Honoring our Ancestors

May 22-24, 2020 in Dover, TN

Sacred Waters Retreat, LLC is an organization designed to hold space for women of color in safe places for ritual, healing & restoration!

At the Sacred Waters Herbal Retreat, participants will share and explore the ancient healing traditions of our fore-mothers as we remember, resurrect & honor their legacies. Find sanctuary in nature as you connect with the age old traditions that keep our families healthy and balanced. Fun and exploration are encouraged as we unite joyfully with our ancestry through sacred ritual.

Sacred Waters subscribes to the truth that Water is divine and moves through us all. It is for this reason that Sacred Waters Retreat holds space near Rivers, Lakes, Waterfalls and Oceans. Invoking the power of water to bring women together through emotion, ritual and connection to the divine feminine, Sacred Waters provides compassionate healing space where women can feel safe and nurtured.

Sacred Waters LLC was founded by Sobande Greer, a descendant of enslaved Africans in the United States. Sobande was trained in the sacred art of herbalism by her great grandmother. She is a Afro Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist, Educator, Consultant, Author, Founder & Creative powerhouse behind the NCB School of Herbalism & Holistic Health offering a 2-year learning program, Sacred Waters Herbal Retreat for Women of Color, and the United States’ first Afro Botany Immersion Conference.
