Second Annual ‘Aha Mauliola: A Native Hawaiian Wellness Gathering

A free event hosted by the University of Hawaii Maui College

Saturday August 10th, 2019, 10:00 am- 3:00 pm

This event explores how Native Hawaiian cultural activities and practices can support and encourage health and wellness. The event includes health and wellness speakers, cultural workshops, health screeenings by Kaiser, free dental services for keiki (kids) 0-17, food, crafts, silent auction, a keiki corner with activities, entertainment and more!

Hosted by Hui No Ke Ola Pono, a private not for profit community-based health enhancement, disease prevention and health care center. Hui No Ke Ola Pono provides programs on nutrition, health management and health care referrals for the community of Maui in a culturally caring manner.

The mission of Hui No Ke Ola Pono is to improve the health status of Native Hawaiians by empowering the present and future generations to be their own health advocates. Hui No Ke Ola Pono serves as a “bridge” to the Native Hawaiian community by integrating medical care with traditional Hawaiian values.
